Center for Contemporary Mussar (CCM) is a learning community that teaches Mussar—an ancient Jewish practice of ethical and spiritual growth. Through small-group study, meditation, and daily practices, students explore how core character traits shape their lives and relationships. Rooted in tradition but relevant to anyone seeking transformation, CCM helps people become more mindful, connected, and compassionate.

Widely recognized in color psychology for supporting concentration and emotional balance, hues of green and blue help create a learning environment that is both engaging and grounded. They also create a sense of calm and clarity—reflecting CCM’s approach to inner growth and ethical awareness.
The colors were also chosen with accessibility in mind—passing ADA contrast checks to ensure clarity and comfort for CCM’s diverse, intergenerational learning community.
The icon symbolizes the reflection one can find in themselves and in others through Mussar teachings.
